Fans in conservatories usually have more air to move than
in conventional rooms. It is for
this reason we only recommend 5 bladed fans with a span of at
least 42".
All fans from Conservatory Furnishings & Interiors have 3 forward and
reverse speeds. The reverse speed is used in winter to draw
down warm air,
which has risen and become trapped in the roof.
All fans from
Conservatory Furnishings & Interiors run on the standard lighting circuit and
are very economical
(approx 5p for 8 hours at high speed). They can be fitted
by a competent DIYer but if you are in any doubt contact an electrician.
In
any case very clear installation instructions that include a
technical
advice hotline number is provided.
All fans can be fitted
with lights.
The fan and lights can be operated separately. The ceiling
fan / light unit is equipped as standard with pull chains
to switch the
fan and lights. They can also be operated from wall switches
or
by a remote controller. (Available as an extra)
The fans
are backed by a 10-year warranty and all metal finishes are
double lacquered
to prevent tarnishing. The motors are larger than many
others on the market and are fitted with double sealed bearings
for
almost
silent operation.
